Technical Sales Manager – Singapore

Chakray is looking for a Technical Sales Manager. This role based out of our Singapore office, combines a mixture of technical knowledge, business problem solving and sales capability. Whilst the outcome of selling is the primary goal of this role, technical and business knowledge are the more important qualities within the person that we are looking for. We aspire to develop long term relationships with clients built on trust, respect and integrity. We believe that selling is a product of a good relationship, a good reputation and most importantly good advice.

Chakray is a technical services company that solves business problems for medium to large organisations using middleware technologies and integration. We use Dell Boomi, WSO2 and complimenting technologies to:

  • Build integration platforms and connectors
  • Provide API gateways / management solutions and develop APIs
  • Deliver identity solutions
  • Implement DevOps capabilities

Responsibilities

Lead Generation

There will be a mixture of inbound leads which come as a result of global marketing activities and reputation, and also a requirement to participate in activities designed to expand our reach and ultimately generate outbound leads.

For the development of outbound leads you will participate in a number of structured activities including:

  • Attending industry / vertical related events
  • Networking
  • Hosting and organising technical events / workshops
  • Contributing to content designed to attract leads

Required skills and experience

We are seeking individuals who can:

  • Relate our technical solutions to business problems
  • Foster positive relationships with senior technical and business leaders
  • Communicate confidently, effectively and efficiently
  • Identify decisions makers and successfully close negotiations
  • Travel frequently, occasionally internationally

Experience

  • Must have experience in middleware / integration
  • Must have experience in business problem solving in medium / large organisations
  • Must have experience in technology implementations in medium / large organisations
  • Must have experience in presenting, networking and relationship building
  • Would be good to have experience in Dell Boomi technologies
  • Would be good to have experience in Sales process, negotiation, procurement

Ideal Profile

  • Senior Technical Manager with experience in supplier management
  • Experienced Sales Person with a strong technical background
